The Deans Marsh Festival had a great bit of publicity on Channel 9’s Today Show on Wednesday 9th.
Our own Ruth Hamilton had a chat with Today Show hosts Karl Stefanovic and Lisa Wilkinson to describe the Festival and let everyone know when it’s on (27th March!).
Watch the clip featuring Kochie (the dog, that is) almost winning the dog race, pipped at the post by Elvis;
Karl and Richard Wilkins had a try at sheaf tossing, an agricultural show competition from days of old – they got the hang of if fairly quickly!
Thanks to Channel 9 and the Today Show for featuring this year’s Deans Marsh Festival!
Planning and preparation for the 2016 Deans Marsh Festival is now under way. Reserve the date (27th March, a Sunday) in your calendar, and spread the word!
It’s a great family day out, country-style.
Stall-holder applications welcome – see Stalls Info for more details.
One thing is for sure Deans Marsh knows how to throw a party. The community of Deans Marsh banded together to host their annual festival last Sunday 23 March.
Festival organisers said a record 3,000 people enjoyed the event travelling from as far as the states capital.
